Joseph Portelli is a Registered Science Technologist (U.K.)
and Fellow of the prestigious Institute of Science
Technology (U.K.). He has vast
experience in the servicing of laboratory equipment, including work on
microscopy and photomicrography. He is in charge of the management and
administration of the departmental research facility, laboratory planning, and actively involved in
practical Pharmacology demonstrations and laboratory techniques. His main
research interests are in the areas nutrient modulation and of immune system responses of athletes and
athletic performance improvement studies.
