July 1993:    Degree Certificate cum laude in Political Science at LUISS University, Rome. Final Dissertation on Economics: “Public Enterprises Privatization”

 

Oct 1988:     Six months stage in a Financial Broker Company (Lombardfin S.p.A., Milan), dealing with stock market technical analysis

 

 

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

 

Since 2004:  Holder of the Italian Chair and International Economics lecturer at the Mediterranean Academy of Diplomatic Studies, University of Malta

 

2000-2004:  in charge of the Research Department of Fondazione Caracciolo (Automobile Club Italia, ACI Research Center), Rome, for Studies on Transportation, preparing reports for The Annual Traffic Conference and other publications especially on Environment, Mobility, Car Accidents and Energy Consumption

 

1996-1999: Assistant of the President and in charge of the Research Department of Fincalabra S.p.A., Catanzaro, Italia, a local government financial enterprise for SME development, performing tasks as: coordinating and assisting with creation of various written communications including meeting and conference preparation; conducting financial analysis; developing project oriented business proposals and graphics; attending presentations and conferences; working on high level ad hoc business projects, reporting directly to the President and to the General Manager

 

1996-2000:  projected, implemented and took care of the start-up and of the general management supervision of a chain of three exchange offices in Rome (as the principal partner)

 

1993-1995:  Professor Assistant in Economics at “Università La Sapienza” and LUISS University under the guide of Professor Domenico da Empoli, taking part of research projects, presenting papers in scientific meetings and taking care of numerous publications on economics and finance
